Marketing for Professional Services
Professional services marketing has its own distinct problems. The great majority of Definition clients fall into this category and, be they lawyers or design engineers, brokers or surveyors, they have many dilemmas, frustrations and obstacles in common, from a desire to say ‘we specialise in everything’ to a barely concealed irritation that issues such as ‘branding’ and ‘image’ should matter at all in comparison with the quality of your work.
Such issues do have to be confronted though and one sector often has much to learn from another. If, in the process of transfer, I can take a good idea and make it yet more effective, so much the better.
