Red is an M&E design company which, since setting up less than five years ago, has become a leading player in low carbon design, especially hotels and data centres.

I became involved with Red in 2007, advising on corporate identity, literature, website and presentations. I also began the project management and writing of a series of extraordinarily successful industry award submissions.  From the outset, MD Bob Ward stressed that the main objective with each of these was to get shortlisted, because the shortlist forms the basis of the showcase event at which all those in the running are paraded as equals. Winning would be a bonus.

We have never failed to get shortlisted and have won, so far, no fewer than five out of seven times.
