The department for Communities and Local Government has announced that the Environmental Law Foundation (of which I am a trustee) is one of just 21 organisations (out of 160 applying) to be awarded strategic funding across the next three years of, in most cases, £250,000.
In a gratifying response to a tender document written by me and Chief Executive Debbie Tripley, the Secretary of State noted ELF’s strength in ‘additional impact’ – i.e. creating the circumstances necessary for the efforts of many other third sector organisations to take full effect.
