1. UK Market Review
This is a London & Country residential property market review, written and produced twice a year for clients Jackson-Stops & Staff. The lead articles are written by me, using feedback from JSS directors across the country and in discussion with its Chairman.
Other contributors include broadcasters and journalists such as Sunday Times Architecture and Design Critic Hugh Pearman, BBC television presenter Dan Cruikshank and, regularly, the former Country Life Architectural Editor and presenter of BBC 2’s ‘The Curious House Guest’, Jeremy Musson.
2. Royal Parks.
The origins and fortunes of the Royal Parks of London and the Kings and Queens who created them. 14 pages, A4, with photographs supplied by the client. In preference to the more usual park-by-park analysis, this concise history charts the emergence and development of the Royal Parks as a whole, from pre-Tudor times to the present day.
Commissioned in 2002 by Jackson-Stops & Staff, this document proved to be of tremendous interest to its clients and target opinion groups, especially those living near the Royal Parks (which handily coincide with several JSS offices). It succeeded handsomely in raising the profile of the firm in a way which highlighted its London presence, its professional, historically-informed expertise and its traditional nature.
3. The Garden Squares of Notting Hill
8 pages, A4, with photographs supplied by the client. This document provides a concise history of the origins, development and residents of ‘The Kensington Park Estate’. Commissioned in 2001 by estate agents Bective Leslie Marsh, it proved to be a significant step in raising awareness of their services amongst owners of the larger houses in Notting Hill.
